My Story

Hello and welcome to Veronica's Hidden Garden! I'm Veronica Otero and I'm the owner and flower farmer behind the scenes at Veronica's Hidden Garden. I'm passionate about bringing the lessons and beauty of locally grown flowers to our community in Fishers, where my husband and I have lived since 2003. In addition to running my little slice of heaven, I work full time and have 3 amazing kiddos and a fur baby named Luna.
Veronica's Hidden Garden is the culmination of a 20+ year passion, born from my grandmother's green thumb, a few flower pots, and a Biology degree. For me, gardening was a quiet meditation, a connection to the earth, and a healthy way to relieve stress. As life's stresses grew, so did my garden, evolving into a 1/4 acre of flowers instilling in me valuable lessons in patience, resilience, the joy of living in the moment and to surrender to things that are beyond my control.
The shift from hobby gardening to flower farming began after watching a YouTube documentary, "Behind the scenes of the billion-dollar flower trade | Foreign Correspondent" This documentary inspired me to educate others about the importance of supporting local flower farmers. Veronica's Hidden Garden proves that you don't need to travel far to find extraordinary beauty.
I hope we can cultivate a beautiful connection through our shared love of flowers. Thank you for supporting Veronica's Hidden Garden!
